I ‘m Philippa Torrance, a Bridal Hair Stylist in Brecon, Mid Wales and I absolutely adore my job – I take great pride in achieving the perfect style for every bride. Nothing delights me more than seeing happy brides on their wedding day. I understand how important it is to feel your best, which is why I believe the personal & calm approach I have will keep my brides relaxed and build a great relationship to make sure that we achieve the perfect style.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to play a part in hundred’s of weddings which have all been unique in their own way. I have won the award for Best Regional Bridal Hairdresser at the Welsh Wedding Awards in 2014 & 2015. I was also shortlisted in 2016 in the year that I took time off to have my second child. Bridal Hair Services
I advise clients to have their bridal hair trial around 2-3 months before the wedding, this is so that you have a good idea of what styles will compliment your wedding dress. It also keeps the style fresh in your memory and hopefully your hair has reached the ideal length for your desired look! Leading up to your hair trial, it would be useful to gather any images or ideas that you have, as well as bringing along your headdress and/or veil so that we can visualise the look you want to achieve. You may want to consider arranging your make-up trial and/or dress fitting on the same day so we can envisage the exact look before your special day.
